Janine D. Miller, MD, FAAD

Owner & Clinic Founder

Dr. Janine D. Miller is a Board Certified Cosmetic and General Dermatologist who specialty trained at Harvard Medical. After a pediatrics internship at the State University of New York, she completed her advanced three-year Dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Miller has also completed specialty fellowship training in Photobiology and Photomedicine (laser therapy) at Case Western Reserve University and dermatology fellowship training at Harvard University. Dr. Miller is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and Society of Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Miller specializes in general adult and pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and laser therapy.

Jacob G. Dodd, DO, FAAD

Dr. Jacob G. Dodd is a Board-Certified General Dermatologist and United States Army Veteran originally from Lorain, Ohio. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Dr. Dodd completed his Transitional Year Internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas and his Dermatology Residency through the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas.


Prior to joining Miller Dermatology Surgical and Laser Center, Dr. Dodd served as the Chief of Dermatology Services at the United States Army Health Clinic – Grafenwoehr in Grafenwoehr, Germany. He separated from the United States Army after 8 years of active-duty service at a rank of Major.


Dr. Dodd is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He has an interest in treating acne, rashes, scars, and skin cancers and desires to create an effective and practical treatment plan for your skin.


Katinna E. Rodriguez Baisi, MD, FAAD

Dr. Katinna E. Rodriguez Baisi is a board-certified general dermatologist who completed her dermatology residency at Northwell Health in New York. Originally from Puerto Rico and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, she has returned to practice dermatology in the community she calls home. 

 

She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and earned her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez Baisi has also conducted dermatology research at the Mayo Clinic. 

 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages, including medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Ruth Harrison, a lifetime Alaskan, holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services and has worked with Dr. Senter, the original owner of the clinic, since 2000, and Dr. Miller since 2010. She has had extensive experience as a general practitioner working in a rural Alaska medical setting, as well as over twenty four years in dermatology. Ruth is a graduate of the first Physician’s Assistant program ever offered through the University of Washington in Alaska.

Shaddin Tirhi, PA-C

Shaddin Tirhi graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelors degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, and began her healthcare career in the fields of pediatric oncology and emergency medicine. She returned to the University of Washington School of Medicine - MEDEX program where she completed her Masters degree as a Physician Assistant. She moved to Alaska from Seattle in 2020 and spent the last four years servicing marginalized patient populations across Alaska - from Nome to Kenai. Shaddin is a member of numerous local and national Physician Assistant societies, including AAPA, AKAPA and SDPA, and has completed specialized training in aesthetic medicine. She loves the ability to provide a holistic approach within her dermatologic practice, and is excited to continually create meaningful relationships with her patients.
